I’m often asked which design accounts I personally love to follow. Aside from the obvious contenders like Sarah Bartholomew and Mallory Mathieson and the designers I spotlight, there are also so many talented interior enthusiasts I’ve discovered on Instagram over the years and one of them is Chrissie Haim of Chrissie Home & Design. I’ve been following Chrissie since she started her account a few years ago and her posts are always a breath of fresh air. She has an absolutely beautiful home which she and her husband built and decorated from the ground up and she shares everything from attainable design solutions, to home living advice and practical yet priceless yet tips like how to prune and maintain topiaries.

Based along the North Shore of Long Island, Chrissie recently started her own interior design firm and has been featured on HGTV Canada, Cottages & Bungalows, Frontgate and more. Her interiors are traditional and functional with a subtle and sophisticated coastal undertone along with plenty of blue and white (of course). In honor of the launch of her own studio, I wanted to give Chrissie a big shoutout and share some highlights of her work and hopefully connect some of you with her who those of you who have been sitting at home and are ready to redesign. And yes, she does e-design!
