I’ve always been fascinated by storytelling, which is what led me first to journalism school and then to creating meaningful art — helping you curate a home that inspires you to live a beautiful and fulfilling life! My latest collection of paintings, New Beginnings, is a celebration of stories and fresh starts.

I began with ten gorgeous, vintage frames from an antique store in my hometown. Each frame has so much history, and I wanted to preserve that history, while giving it a new life through modern landscapes.

I painted each piece specifically for its vintage frame, using a lovely deckled edge paper. I completed the look with happy colors and my signature marsh landscapes!

Morgan Harper Nichols describes ‘new beginnings’ best: “At the beginning of the day, I hope you can look up to the sky and let the rising sun remind you: you are worthy of new beginnings. And not only are you worthy of new beginnings, you are worthy of the process of easing into new beginnings. No matter how rushed the day feels, let there be room to ease into the day, in the same way the sun does.”
