I still remember nearly fifteen years ago asking for a Veranda magazine subscription for Christmas. I was in high school. I have been a loyal subscriber ever since and in many ways I attribute the magazine to truly sparking my love of interior design. As a result, I have stacks of old editions tucked away in boxes in my attic and was going through them looking for more inspiration to share with you.  I immediately stopped in my tracks when I came across this Texas gem designed by Beverly Field in the January/February 2014 edition of Veranda. I wouldn’t particularly describe my personal design style as “Glam” but this house hits all the right notes for me and I was delighted when I was able to find it online. This home is full of zhush, bold splashes of color and pattern, and a hefty dose of Neoclassical antiques. Classic design never goes out of style.
