The January edition of Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles is just divine. Featuring gorgeous homes from designers among the ranks of Suzé Surdyk Jones and Suzanne Kasler it’s hard to pick a favorite, but if I had to choose just one it’s the Atlanta home of Lauren Lowe, owner of Lauren Elaine Interiors.

Lowe’s style is the perfect of balance of New England prep meets Southern charm. Equestrian prints, Persian rugs, and antiques adorn the home while abstract art, white walls, and tailored furniture add a chic, contemporary feel. Lowe’s fresh take on classic design is inspiring and her talent as a rising next wave designer is undeniable. The only problem is that now I’m dying to see the rest of the house and I have a feeling you are going to feel the same way!

You know a living room is a success when you don’t even notice a TV over the mantle. The soft colors in this space are soothing while the block print pillows and prints lend a warmth and coziness to this family room.

A masterful mix of old and new. The juxtaposition of the contemporary art and brass fixtures with the Persian rugs and oil paintings in the hallway is just lovely.

I don’t think I have ever seen a vignette by Lauren Lowe that I didn’t like.
This robins egg blue kitchen is inspired and oh so cheerful. Can we also take a moment to swoon over the light fixture?

I want everything in this space from the mirror and bamboo dresser to the Bowood chintz upholstered chair.

The Bowood continues upstairs and I love how the master bedroom is calming and incorporates so many delicate details without it reading too feminine.

This is one of my all time favorite nurseries. I think my favorite part is how the wallpaper, window treatments, and accent pieces will all easily transition to a more mature boy’s room as her son grows up and still look timeless and classic.

Happy Wednesday!
