“She told me, ‘I want the colors you see in Palm Beach: the flora, the sea, the sky.'”  This was the description given to Phoebe Howard by her Chicago clients who enlisted her help in designing and decorating the interior of their Palm Beach vacation home. The result is a masterpiece. Clean lines and rich layering of patterns and textures run throughout the home and are set against a soft but crisp backdrop of blues, whites, corals, and greens. Howard sprinkles in contemporary art, oversized accents and pops of bold color with the overall traditional design scheme, blending the couple’s individual design sensibilities and making sure both are duly represented.

The architect, Roger Patton Janssen, incorporates Spanish and Mediterranean elements as a nod to the architectural history of the surrounding area, while maintaining a fresh and modern aesthetic.  The interior and exterior details of the home exude luxury from the latticed family room to the hand painted wall murals and breathtaking sunroom and loggia.
