Home Tour: New Traditional in Dallas with Morgan Hunt
By Sophie Phelps

When I first saw a sneak peek of Dallas interior designer Morgan Hunt‘s Dallas home, it stopped me in my tracks. It is easily one of my all-time favorite home tours and I have bursting at the seams to share it with you in today’s exclusive home tour!

Hunt’s home is a beautiful blend of old meets new and is the epitome of chic and luxurious family friendly living. Gracious antiques and timeless wallcoverings are paired with contemporary art, many of which were painted by Hunt herself, as well as unexpected color combinations and charming accent pieces. Hunt, who resides in Dallas with her husband and four children, has recently opened her own interior design firm Morgan Hunt LLC and I think you will agree with me when I say I cannot wait to see the future spaces she designs!

Grasscloth walls make the blue window treatments pop and the zebra hide rug provides a fresh spin on the traditional bones of the room

How spectacular are the details of this ornate desk? The blue and white seat cushion adds a gracious feminine touch and the artwork is painted by Morgan Hunt

A chic corner provides additional seating and a family friendly place for eating, entertaining and games

I love this glimpse into this living room…it has all of my favorite things!

The details of this blue and white corner are exquisite

There is so much to love in this chic playroom!
The color palette and mix of accents make this family room not only beautiful but functional because it can easily transition into a family room or game room as the children grow

You know by now that I have a love affair with chinoiserie murals in dining rooms…

Black lampshades and gold foil art by Hunt adorn the buffet giving the space a more contemporary feel

The combination of the soft colors and marble backsplash (I’m so jealous!) in this kitchen are both cozy and sophisticated

The India Amory tablecloth gives this sweet breakfast nook the perfect amount of zhush. The chairs are also always a favorite of mine!

Who’s ready for breakfast!? I can’t imagine a more beautiful tabletop and you can find the flatware here (and it’s on sale!) and the dinnerware here and here

Such a lovely vignette! The green accents make it feel so crisp and bright

I can’t blame this pup for snuggling up at the bottom of this beautiful landing

I adore every single detail in this bedroom

A girl’s room fit for a princess!

The window treatments are fabulous and paired with the detailing on the lamp and dresser, this lovely space feels perfectly coordinated without being matchy
Is it bad that I want this bedroom for myself? Girls of all ages are princess right?!

This boys’ room is equally as charming and can also be easily upgraded to a “big boy” room as they get older

Boxwood chintz hangs on the walls of this beautiful office space

It’s no secret that every piece of furniture @theceh makes is gorgeous, but we needed to rave about them today for a different reason. Have you been following their stories lately? We have been so inspired and humbled by their dedication to their customers that we had to share…

Last month their delivery driver quit mid-delivery with no notice. For weeks now, Diana and Justin, the owners of @theceh have been driving cross country with their children, personally delivering the remaining pieces to make sure customers get everything in time.
