Margaret Kirkland’s re-invention of this stunning Georgian home in Atlanta is spectacular. In the February edition of Southern Living, Kirkland breathes life and fun into a once highly formal residence through her incorporation of color and whimsy. The owners of the home have a large extended family and decided to build an addition and alter the footprint of the house to accommodate their busy lifestyle.

Kirkland adds contemporary elements, blending them with the original architectural detail of the home to create interiors that will help them embrace the next chapter of their lives. There is no shortage of color or bold and exciting details in this home and it is definitely one that you will enjoy!

Soft pink walls helps highlight the gracious chandelier that is original to the home.
This chic butler’s pantry is tucked away off of the den and is the perfect stylish space to store drinks and barware.
The living rom is proof that when green is done right it can be the chicest color of them all!
The master bedroom delivers a punch of color yet is still subdued and relaxing.
I can not imagine a better outdoor entertaining space!
