Suzanne Kasler is perhaps best known for her ability to give every space she designs an air of effortless elegance.  Her editing is superb and she is able to mix the classic with the contemporary in a way that gives the homes she decorates a sophisticated, yet comfortable elegance that is always current but never trendy.

In my opinion, this Palmetto Bluff vacation home featured in the July 2017 edition of House Beautiful is perfection.  Kasler subtly carries a red, white and blue color scheme throughout the residence and the result is a jaw dropping oasis that makes you want to move in from the moment you walk into the foyer. I have included my picks for how to get the look at the end of the post and if you want to see more of Suzanne Kasler’s work, you can find a tour of another favorite home she has designed here.

This chic living room is elegant and comfortable decorated with traditional pieces that are stately but inviting.

This is one of my all time favorite dining rooms. I adore the blue and white color scheme and the details are just exquisite.

A cheerful, coastal vignette comprised of blue and white porcelain jars, palm accents, and white decorative objects adorn a Chinese Chippendale-style console, greeting guests as they arrive.

The master suite is the definition of serene making it the ultimate retreat. The soft blues instantly lend a sense of calm and the metallic pops from the accent pieces and bathroom wallpaper give the space an added radiance.

This fun and cheerful bunkbed is a show stopper and perfect for boys (and girls) of all ages. Contemporary art and roman shades give the room a fresh, youthful feel.

This bold, crisp foyer is a showstopper and alludes to the red, white, and blue color palette that runs throughout the home. Classic accents such as the black and white floor tile and greek key runner offer a vibrance and fresh twist to an otherwise traditional space.

The red, white and blue theme is continued onto the sunroom giving the home a bright and welcoming feel. Who else is ready to move in?!
