You probably know by now that I love a good Colonial and this gorgeous Colonial Revival built by Charlie Barnett Associates and decorated by Miles Redd is no exception.  Even though Redd’s trademark whimsical glamour is slightly quieter in this house, the result is still spectacular. From a de Gournay adored dining room with a hidden lacquered bar to a solarium and a sitting room with rift-sawn white oak paneling and pops of beige and blue, the home is nothing short of a masterpiece.

The grounds of the property, designed by Elizabeth Everdell Garden, are equally as magnificent and are surrounded by a delicate and enchanting mix of foxglove, violet, and petunias. Boxwoods and azaleas grace the front of the house and you are greeted by a charming pathway leading up to a columned entrance. In short- you know you are in for a treat from the moment you see the facade of the home.  I have a feeling you’re going to fall in love with this house as much as I did when I first saw it and those are my favorite types of tours to share with you all!  Decor sources and the original source of this tour can be found in the Architectural Digest January 2017 edition.
