A North Carolina native, Sarah Jane grew up in the country and made the 8-mile trek to Durham after graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Sarah Jane's work comes from a place of faith in a beautiful creative process. One that allows her to create meaningful artwork for a beautiful life. These days you can find her painting in her home studio or finding inspiration in the great outdoors with her husband and their pint-sized golden retriever, Rosie!

How would you describe your aesthetic in three words?

Elevated, coastal, casual.

What inspires you?

I'm inspired by the beauty ever-present in nature. I try to weave it into all of my work, evoking a feeling of peace. My favorite place to gather inspiration is the coastal Carolinas.

What is your favorite/go-to design advice?

Go with what you love. If you fill your home with pieces that are meaningful to you, then you're sure to have an inspiring space for a beautiful life.
