If you’ve been following along with the blog this summer then you are probably familiar by now with my latest series, The Watch List, featuring interior designers who may not be household names (yet) but are definitely ones to keep your eye on! This week I am thrilled to be sharing another designer to watch, Dallas based interior designer, Lindley Arthur. Arthur began her design career as an antiques dealer, traveling around the world curating a collection and ultimately opening her own shop in Antiques Row on Dallas’ Lovers Lane. As she continued to source pieces for her clients, it was only a matter of time until she made the natural transition into interior design, starting her own firm Lindley Arthur Interiors.

Arthur and her team create interiors that are fresh and inviting, while harmoniously blending the old with the new, creating personalized narratives for her clients’ and their families. Her spaces possess traditional, tailored lines and beautiful antiques, but she also doesn’t shy away from splashy color, pops of contemporary art, and modern accents. It’s all about the mix! I find one of the things I love most about her interiors are that they are not only chic and approachable, but are also incredibly balanced. Whether she is using bright colors or neutrals, her rooms always possess a calm which I find incredibly soothing. I hope you’ll join me in giving Lindley a warm welcome and you can hop on and follow along with her work on Instagram here. Happy Monday!

Fresh traditional interior design
The perfect execution of a modern mix

Chic, family friendly living room
There are few spaces that make me happier than those that provide chic, family friendly living. This living room encompasses all of those things and I love all the layers of texture.

Design Details
Every detail is lovely from the bamboo tray to the antelope print rug!

This Phillip Jeffries grasscloth wallpaper, paired with the steels doors and grasscloth console is beyond fabulous!

White and blue kitchen
This traditional kitchen gets a fresh, colorful facelift with a soft blue backsplash and gold and white pendant lights

Family friendly kitchen
I love the mix of seating options in this happy breakfast room

Casual Dining Room Chairs
These chairs are positively yummy!

Blue and yellow home decor
Blue and yellow is a combination that is having a major resurgence at the moment. Traditional lines and tailored furniture balance the bold colors in this formal sitting room.

Coffee table design
A glimpse of such fun pattern play from checks and stripes to greek key and trellis print!

Transitional Dining Room
An antique dining room table is paired beautifully with more modern elements including an artwork series commissioned by Lindsey J. Porter in this light and bright dining room.

This Murano chandelier takes my breath away every time!

Proof that pink and red are a match made in heaven!

The most darling bathroom. I love the wallpaper and scalloped hand towels!

I often see settees or benches at the foot of beds, but I love the unexpected set of chairs and the soft sorbet color paired with a gentle chartreuse is divine! The shams from Leotine Linens ties everything together.

The ultimate spot to unwind at the end of a long day!
