I have been an admirer of the work of New York based interior designer, Kendall Rabun, since she had about 10 instagram squares. Even though I had only seen a small sampling of her work at that point, I turned on post notifications because her work was absolutely beautiful and I couldn’t wait to see more and she did not disappoint! Rabun now has a bustling Instagram account and a beautiful website making it hard for me to narrow down which images to use for today’s post. For this reason, I strongly encourage you to visit her new website and explore her portfolio for yourself. It’s the perfect thing to scroll through with your morning cup of coffee to be inspired by beautiful interiors and procrastinate just a bit!

Kendall’s interiors are soft, inviting and eclectic while also being incredibly well edited. The spaces she designs always read as soothing, but she doesn’t shy away from using color and incorporates it in a way that is incredibly cohesive verses being loud or jarring. I also find that I especially gravitate towards her bedroom designs which have an organic simplicity that is comforting while still being sophisticated. However, the most impressive thing to me about Rabun’s work is her incredible depth of design range. Whether she’s decorating a Nantucket beach house or a chic Tribeca home, when you see her interiors you instantly know its the work of Kendall Rabun.

I love everything about this! The pops of coral beautifully compliment those phenomenal accent chairs and add extra warmth and interest

Just the right amount of texture and pattern play

Blue and white gets me every time. The delicate details on these pillows is the perfect contrast to accent the chunky rug

A modern spin on a traditional foyer

Correct furniture layout is imperative in any space, especially a living room. Rabun knocks it out of the park here and the palette with smoky blues and purples is so sophisticated!

Proof that you can never have too much fresh greenery or ginger jars!
You know I love a white kitchen with brass hardware. The cabbage bowls are a beautiful accent alongside all the blue and white

I think I would get a lot more dishes done if this is what my sink area looked like!

I love seeing red, white and blue tablescapes that look organic and breezy

I love this foyer moment right before you enter the bedroom. It is such a cheerful greeting space and you know you are in for a treat when you walk through the door
And the bedroom is just as fabulous as promised!

I love this sweet reading corner

There is so much goodness to dissect here. It’s no secret that I am usually not a shiplap person but it is perfect in this bedroom. Mixed with the grasscloth nightstand, striped rug and Les Touches upholstered headboard, this bedroom is a lovely spin on coastal chic
An absolutely darling powder room!

Muted plums and warm beiges invite you into this elegant but cozy bedroom

Another shiplap home run and again the details are exceptional from the Lisa Fine upholstered headboard to greek key carpet

I love when a nursery has the bones to easily transition into a “big kids room”

A serene retreat and the prettiest layer of textiles including that Sister Parish pillow. Plus every time I see this headboard, I swoon!

Bunk beds any child would dream of!

I love the rainbow elements set against the white walls and carpet. The whimsical yet abstract prints overhead are such a sweet touch!

The most charming mud room nook!

The epitome of coastal chic
