Classic sensibilities meet streamlined, feminine charm in the interiors of Charlotte designer, Anne Hammett and today I’m thrilled to be sharing her work with you! If you find yourself drawn to peaceful, family friendly spaces that put a fresh and modern spin on traditional design, today’s post is one you don’t want to miss. Now owner of her own design firm, Anne Pearson Design, Anne originally graduated from English at University of the South, Sewanee with a BA in English. In 2008, she later attended Queens College where she earned a second BA in Interior Design and studied under the tutelage of Beverly Allen.

Anne’s aesthetic is a lovely blend of antiques with new materials and patterns to create light and airy spaces that are also beautifully curated to reflect her clients’ personality. Taking careful effort to ensure the homes she designs feel collected rather than staged, Hammett calls upon her keen eye for styling and sets out to find undiscovered diamonds in the rough. “I love shopping in thrift stores, Etsy, flea markets and lesser known antique stores as well as on Etsy to find treasures that you would never know had been repurposed when styled in a room.”

From dreamy laundry rooms with walls clad in Schumacher’s Santa Barbara Ikat to breezy sitting rooms and perfectly styled dining rooms, I know you’ll find yourself as inspired by Anne Hammett as I was from the moment I discovered her on Instagram!
